License Agreement & Terms of Use

1. Introduction & Acceptance

This End-User License Agreement and Terms of Use ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you ("you" or "the user") and MC Intelligence Co., Ltd. ("we", "our", or "us"), a company registered in Thailand, governing your use of the mobile application HORA · AI Astrologer ("the App") and any related services.

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. The App is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit their use of it.

3. Grant of License

Subject to your compliance with this Agreement, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to install and use the App on a device that you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

4. Restrictions

You agree that you will not, and will not permit any third party to:

• Copy, modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works of the App except as permitted by law;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, prompts, or underlying models of the App, except to the limited extent expressly permitted by applicable law;
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content;
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices;
• Use the App to build a competing product or service, or to train a competing model;
• Access the App's backend services through automated means, scrapers, or bots, or in a way that circumvents rate limits, quotas, coin charges, membership checks, or integrity verification;
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or accounts;
• Use the App for any unlawful, fraudulent, harassing, or abusive purpose.

5. AI-Generated Content & Acceptable Use

The App uses artificial intelligence to generate readings, chat responses, and interpretations. You acknowledge and agree that:

• AI output is probabilistic and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inconsistent. Answers may differ between sessions and between the App's different modes (Free, Economy, Coins, and Bring-Your-Own-Key), which may use different models and depth of analysis;
• Readings are interpretive and cultural in nature and do not constitute statements of fact about you or any other person;
• You will not rely on AI output for decisions concerning health, finances, investments, legal matters, relationships, employment, safety, or any other significant matter;
• You will not use the App to generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, or that infringes the rights of others.

6. Photographs of Faces & Palms — Consent Requirement

The face-reading and palm-reading features let you provide a photograph so the App can produce a reading. If a photograph shows a person other than yourself, you represent and warrant that you have obtained that person's informed consent to use their image for this purpose. Do not upload photographs of other people without their permission.

As described in our Privacy Policy, photographs are processed to generate a reading and are not stored on our servers; the original image remains on your device unless you delete it.

7. Coins, Gift Codes & In-App Purchases

7a. Coins

Certain features consume Coins, a virtual, in-app currency. Coins can be purchased through the Google Play billing system. Coins are a limited license to access features of the App; they have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are not transferable outside the App.

• Coins are consumed on a usage basis, according to the mode, feature, and length of the request;
• Amounts shown and charged are rounded and displayed as whole coins;
• Holding Coins is separate from Premium Membership — Coins alone do not grant membership benefits;
• We may adjust coin prices and the cost of features prospectively; changes do not affect coins you have already spent.

7b. Redeem, Gift & Event Codes

We may from time to time issue promotional codes. These are provided at our discretion, may be limited in time and quantity, have no cash value, and are subject to the specific terms shown when the code is offered:

• Gift (time) codes grant temporary access and/or a temporary balance of gift coins that expire after a set period; unused gift coins may be removed when the gift period ends;
• Coin codes add permanent coins to your account and require you to be signed in;
• Event codes are public promotional codes that may be redeemed once per account within a stated open period, and may require signing in.

Promotional codes may not be sold, and we may void codes obtained through fraud, error, or abuse.

7c. Billing & Refunds

All purchases are processed by Google Play (and, where applicable, the relevant app store), and are subject to that store's terms and refund policies. We do not process card payments directly. Refund requests are handled in accordance with the applicable store's policy; where a store requests transaction details to review a refund, we may provide relevant purchase records as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Premium Membership & Subscriptions

The App may offer a Premium Membership on a subscription basis. If you subscribe:

• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase;
• Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period;
• You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period;
• Any free-trial portion, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial.

9. Your Own API Key (BYOK)

The App includes an optional "Bring-Your-Own-Key" (BYOK) mode in which you supply your own third-party AI provider API key. If you use BYOK:

• You are solely responsible for the key, for keeping it confidential, and for all charges, usage, and compliance obligations that your provider imposes;
• Your use of the third-party service is governed by that provider's own terms;
• We are not responsible for costs you incur, or for the availability, output, or billing of your provider.

10. Advertising

Some modes of the App are supported by advertising served through Google AdMob. By using ad-supported features, you agree that advertisements may be displayed. Details of ad-related data handling are set out in our Privacy Policy.

11. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, design, text, graphics, prompts, and other content (excluding content you provide and third-party open-source components), is owned by MC Intelligence Co., Ltd. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. Except for the license granted above, no rights are transferred to you. Third-party open-source components are used under their respective licenses; see our Open-Source Licenses page.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT AND READINGS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY READING IS ACCURATE, RELIABLE, OR SUITABLE FOR ANY PURPOSE.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MC INTELLIGENCE CO., LTD. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND PARTNERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THE APP OR ANY READING. NOTHING IN THIS AGREEMENT LIMITS LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MC Intelligence Co., Ltd. from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your misuse of the App, your violation of this Agreement, or your infringement of any rights of a third party, including uploading another person's photograph without consent.

15. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach any term of this Agreement. We may suspend or terminate your access to the App or its services at any time for conduct that we reasonably believe violates this Agreement or harms other users or us. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and delete it. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

16. Changes to This Agreement

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Effective Date" above and, where appropriate, by notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Agreement.

17. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Thailand will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from this Agreement, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
